Hotel Admiral - Gdansk

Staying at admiral was fantastic. The friendly staff helped split the double bed into twins quickly. I loved the good shower pressure and real scrambled eggs for breakfast. The location is calm, yet all the sightseeing spots are within walking distance. Plus, there's a spa with soothing treatments right on site.

The staff were rude. It was a German hotel and I was not made to feel welcome. There were no English speaking tv channels. The bed was like lying on concrete. The breakfast was purely German based... Fish, Sausages, chocolate cake!!!!

Very positive experience there. Clean hotel with tasty and reasonably good breakfast. Very welcoming and pleasant property employees all round. A wide range of brilliant options for meal.

Can't recommend highly enough for a short stay

Comfortable room, friendly staff, great breakfast, combined with the convenience of a 24-hour reception made my stay very enjoyable, especially having access to reliable free wi-fi, easy to plan my daily explorations around the area.

I stayed here for one nights and had a wonderful experience. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. My room was charming, beautiful and really large-especially by European standards. Anytime I needed anything, they were happy to oblige.

very nice new hotel with excellent location, studio room'was nice

The location of the hotel was super great, just near the river and in the citycenter but still quiet. Breakfast was way better than we expected, with all sorts of options! The room was old fashioned but real nice, especially loved the bath tub in the bathroom. Everything was tidy and clean. Plus, there was a cute little bar at the reception with affordable drinks!

The mattress could be better, a little uncomfortable. The wifi was spotty and could've been more reliable .

Very good location just next to the river. Short walk to cafes and restaurants and Madison shopping senter. The staff was helpfull in every way. The rooms was a ok size, i would recomend to ask for a room in the back of the hotel since they have windows that will open all the way. The rooms in front of the hotel has a glass wall in front of the windows. The beds were comfortable, the pillows could have been a bit softer. Bathroom very nice and fresh. The interior design is a bit old fashion with dark colours and dark wood althoug its a new hotel. But this is just taste and would not stop me from choosing this hotel again.

A bit more variation for breakfast could have been nice. Plenty of food, but maybe a bit booring...

The hotel is clearly riding on a 4-star rating that it doesn't deserve. I even got charged for breakfast, yet the air conditioning was locked up tighter than a vault. If I had received a complimentary room upgrade or even a simple acknowledgment of my dissatisfaction, I might have considered leaving a better review.

Hotel Admiral is perfect location near the waterfront, offering clean and spacious rooms that was like a warm hug. The breakfasts are diverse and delicious, considering various tastes.
